“Hi Kathy, Thank you so much. This experience has been amazing from start to finish. Every encounter with personnel has been kind, caring and compassionate (including care coordinators, hospital staff, drivers and hotel staff). The medical personnel is top notch and beyond what I’ve experienced in the states. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Specialized Bariatrics.I am completely happy and know I was in good hands as I start my journey on the path to full health and a life I’ve imagined without the burden of extra weight. Success of Gastric Bypass Surgery
According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, nearly two-thirds of all American adults are either overweight or obese. With the increasing number of obesity, cases come added attention to weight loss surgery options. One of the most popular, Gastric Bypass surgery, reduces the size of the stomach and thus reduces the amount of food that a patient can consume. This results in weight loss. Experts have proven that gastric bypass surgery, as well as other bariatric surgeries, has reduced diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol symptoms in those who had it.
In today’s age, most people know at least one person who has had gastric bypass surgery. As someone interested in weight loss surgery, you will most likely be interested in their success stories.

In order to have a chance at walking again or living a prosperous life, his doctor suggested Gastric Bypass. After surgery, Caleb has lost nearly 70 pounds and his blood pressure and cholesterol have both dropped. He continues to work toward weight loss and has begun short walks with a walker a few times a week.
